Starting in March 2011 I was hired by Gradient Effects (located in Los Angeles, CA) as an FX artist to start work on the final Harry Potter film. Specifically I created thousands of magic “willow-flies” which came to life and flew off of a willow tree. I also worked with volumetric effects to create trails and other phenomena on remaining shots in the sequence.
Breakdowns will be released come the Christmas release of the DVD.
